Dr. Cody Hennessey was born and raised on a horse racing farm in Rockwood, Ontario, surrounded by horses, cats and dogs. As his father is an equine veterinarian, he has had lifelong involvement in the veterinary field. Cody moved to Nova Scotia to complete his Bachelor of Science at St. Francis Xavier University. He then moved across the world to Australia where he completed his veterinary degree at the University of Melbourne in 2021. Cody has a particular passion for the surgical side of veterinary medicine. Since arriving in Ottawa, Cody is enjoying working with the team and all of his clients and patients at Billings Bridge Animal Hospital. At home, he has a playful and talkative white tabby cat called Mae. In his free time he enjoys travelling, camping, playing hockey and spending time with friends and family.
