GENERAL MEDICINE
We offer inpatient and outpatient medical treatment for eye, ear, skin, gastrointestinal, respiratory, cardiac, urogenital, renal and hepatic diseases.
VACCINATIONS AND PARASITE PREVENTION
Billings Bridge Animal Hospital offers vaccination programs consistent with the American Association of Animal Hospital (AAHA) vaccine guidelines. We carry a range of medications to prevent intestinal worms, heartworm, and external parasites such as fleas, ticks and mange.
SURGICAL CARE
We provide surgical services ranging from routine spays and neuters to more complex bladder, ear, eye, gastrointestinal, orthopedic and tumour removal procedures. Our veterinarians are experienced surgeons, and we can call upon the services of a mobile specialist if orthopaedic work is needed. We also provide soft tissue surgery and tonometry procedure as well.
BLOOD WORK, URINALYSIS AND OTHER LABORATORY TESTING
Billings Bridge Animal Hospital has an in-house laboratory and access to off-site veterinary laboratories to complete any necessary testing for your loved one. Our other service includes medical assessments of your pets.
DENTISTRY
In addition to our medical and surgical services, we are fully equipped with the latest in dental equipment, including digital dental radiography. We offer routine cleanings (prophylaxis) and dental extractions.
DIGITAL RADIOLOGY
Our veterinarians care for your pets with the latest in technology, including a state-of-the-art digital radiograph machine which allows for speedy results.
ULTRASOUND, ECHOCARDIOGRAM AND ENDOSCOPY
We work in partnership with mobile veterinarians to provide more complex diagnostic testing. We provide X-ray services as well. Endocrinology (hormones) is also provided at our centre.
PRESCRIPTION DIETS
We can help optimize your pet’s health with a variety of veterinary prescription food. Our vets will customize a nutrition plan utilizing the following brands – Hills®, Hills Science Diet®, Royal Canin and Purina®.
SPECIALTY SERVICES
In-house pharmacy, nutritional counselling, and pet identification (microchips, etc.)
NEW PUPPY / NEW KITTEN EXAMINATIONS
Let us give your pet a healthy start with a new puppy or new kitten examination. We are experienced in pediatric medicine and love seeing new pups and kittens.
REFERRAL SERVICES
We work closely with specialists in the Ottawa area to ensure your pet has the option of advanced care in neurology, dermatology, cardiology, internal medicine and oncology.
EXPORT DOCUMENTS
We perform bloodwork and complete documents for exporting dogs and cats internationally. We are experienced in exporting pets to the U.S.A., Mexico, the Caribbean, Latin America, European Union, United Kingdom, China, Japan, Australia, South Africa and other countries.
